TOEFL Overview
What is the TOEFL?
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) measures English language proficiency for non-native speakers. It is widely accepted by universities and institutions in English-speaking countries.
Test Format
The TOEFL consists of four main sections:

Reading (60-80 minutes)
- Content: 3-4 academic passages with questions.
- Tasks: Answer comprehension questions, including vocabulary and main idea identification.

Listening (60-90 minutes)
- Content: 4-6 lectures and 2-3 conversations.
- Tasks: Answer questions about main ideas, details, and speaker attitudes.

- 4 integrated tasks: Respond based on reading or listening materials.

Scoring
- Each section is scored on a scale of 0-30, with a total score ranging from 0 to 120.
- Responses in the Speaking and Writing sections are evaluated based on specific criteria.
Test Dates and Registration
- The TOEFL is offered multiple times throughout the year. Registration is done online, and test-takers can choose their preferred date and location.
